And I've got a brand new car
And I, I like to drive real hard
I, I've got a brand new car
And I'm, I'm feeling good so far

Take her on a highway for a little spin
I want to see the kind of shape she's in
And I, I've got a brand new star

Jack her up baby, go on, open the hood
I want to check if the oil smells good
Mmm, smells like caviar

Mm, give her some stick
Push her too far, right to the brink   (ooh)

Mmm, hear her motor running, yeah, she's right in sync
Tell me if she's thirsty, would she like a drink
And I'm stopping at this bar

Yeah, all right

Slinky like a panther, you can hear her purr
Touch her on the seat, go on, feel the fur
And I, I've got a brand new star

Yeah, that's right

Mm, feel the juice
Foot to the floor, take some abuse

Oh I, I''ve got a brand new car - yeah
And I, I drive her in the dark - yes
And I, I've got a brand new car
Mm, I think I'll stop and park

All right

I, mm-mm-mm mm-mm mm-mm
I send my best regards - come on
I'm in my brand new car - mm, come on, come on, mm, come on
Come on, I like to drive real
I like to drive real, I like to drive real...

Brand New Car could have been off a really early Stones record. It's in the mould of something like Robert Johnson's Terraplane Blues.

- Mick Jagger, June 1994

Brand New Car is one of my favorites. Keith is playing bass on that.

- Darryl Jones, 1994
